Workers

My Grass Farm Starter Workers

The first crew that should be on your plot before you buy DarkLord.

Starter Workers

Starter workers are the hires that make My Grass Farm feel finished after the tutorial. You can beat the early game with Pirate Farmers, a Farmer, and a little Cut Speed. You cannot beat it with a complete sticker album and a slow blade.

This page is the practical half of the workers hub. The flashy half is special workers. Ranks are on the worker tier list. Buying advice is on how to hire workers.

Farmer

Farmer is the generic employee. If you never see another name, this is the one the Roblox description means when it says hire workers to farm for you. Buy Farmer when RELEASE did not give you enough bodies, or when your Pirates cannot cover a newly expanded bed. Farmer is not glamorous. Farmer prints hay.

Pirate Farmers

Pirate Farmers are starters that arrive like a bonus stage. RELEASE grants four of them plus 600 Cash. Redeem on the codes hub. The dedicated operating page is Pirate Farmers. The dedicated operating page is Pirate Farmers. They are still workers: they need grass in reach and a silo that can process. They are not pets. If they stand still, your plot setup is wrong, not the code.

Because they are free when the code works, they distort every other shopping plan. Do not sell the idea of them to buy a specialist. Use them. Then read make money fast.

Lumberjack, Cowboy, Explorer

These three show up in auto-buy lists next to Farmer. They read as outdoor labor, which matches a grass tycoon. Treat them as extra coverage when the starter fence is always full and you are about to expand. They are not a replacement for Silo Rate. If hay piles up, you needed conversion, not another hat.

Hire them one at a time. Watch pathing. If they cluster, you need space or fewer bodies, not all three at once.

What starters are not

They are not a combat party. There is no raid ready check. They are not luck items; MERCHANT’s Grass Type is a turf upgrade those starters should cut—see rare grass. They are not a reason to skip Getting Started.

Session plan for a new roster

  1. Tutorial.
  2. Redeem RELEASE.
  3. Confirm four Pirates on the grass.
  4. Buy Cut Speed.
  5. Buy Farmer only if large patches stay standing.
  6. Log off with the offline checklist.
  7. Add Lumberjack or Cowboy only after a successful offline night.

If you want Chef because cooking is funny, that is a special. Put it on the other page.

When starters fall behind

After merchant patches, a new Grass Type can make the same crew richer without replacing them. Read Merchant update. If a patch adds a new cheap worker that obviously outcuts Farmer, we will move it onto this page.

Until then, Farmer plus Pirates is the backbone. Specialists are seasoning. Return to the workers hub when you are ready to season.

Starters on merchant turf

If MERCHANT already landed, walk starters onto that type before you buy a fourth outdoor hat. The code crew plus better turf is a bigger jump than Lumberjack number two. Confirm they can path. Then leave for the offline checklist. Starters are not less important after a merchant patch; they are more important because the tiles pay more.

If RELEASE already expired on your account

Buy Farmer first after Cut Speed. Skip hunting a dead string for an hour. Check expired codes once, then return to work. Starters are still starters without Pirates; you just pay for the first bodies.

One-lap test for a new Farmer

After you buy Farmer, watch a single fence clear. If hay appears, the hire is real. If the model stands in the shop, you clicked wrong. Re-open the worker UI before you buy Lumberjack. Then run hire workers if you still feel lost.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common farm questions.

Who should I hire first in My Grass Farm?

Pirate Farmers from RELEASE, then a Farmer if you still have empty grass. See hire workers.

Are Pirate Farmers better than Farmer?

They are better as a pack because the code gives four. A single Pirate is still just a worker. Keep both ideas.

When do I hire Lumberjack or Cowboy?

After the first offline night looks healthy and the fence is always full. Then consider expand farm.

Should starters wait for rare grass?

No. Put them on green or on MERCHANT’s type immediately. Rare hunts come later.
