My Grass Farm Worker Tier List
Community ranks for who should cut your grass, with Pirate Farmers at the top of the early game.
This worker tier list is a shopping order for My Grass Farm, not a beauty contest. We rank by how soon a hire prints hay, especially while you are offline. Names come from the in-game roster used by community tools: Farmer, Pirate, Lumberjack, Cowboy, Chef, Explorer, Scientist, Businessman, Robot, Laugher, Stephen, DarkLord, Force, and Tentoes. We do not have official damage stats, so later names sit in situational ranks until a patch says otherwise.
Pair this page with how to hire workers, the starter workers guide, and special workers. For shop order, see the upgrade tier list.
S tier — hire or redeem immediately
Pirate Farmers sit here because RELEASE hands you four at once plus Cash. That is an offline team before you understand the shop. If the code is live on the codes hub, redeem it before you debate DarkLord.
Farmer sits here as the default paid body. When you do not have Pirates, the first Farmer is the difference between a toy and a tycoon. Buy after Cut Speed is not embarrassing.
A tier — strong once the plot exists
Lumberjack, Cowboy, and Explorer read as outdoor labor. They are reasonable second and third hires if the starter crew already clears the small fence and you need more coverage before expanding. They are not worth buying instead of Silo Rate if hay is backing up.
B tier — flavor and later coverage
Chef, Businessman, Scientist, and Robot are easy to overpay for because the names sound like systems. Until you see them outperform a Farmer on your plot, treat them as extras. A Robot that looks fast in a thumbnail still has to path, cut, and leave hay you can process.
Force and Stephen are even more opaque without a stat sheet. If you like the skin, buy after money-fast is solved. If you are broke, do not.
C tier — wait unless you are collecting
Laugher, Tentoes, and DarkLord are the poster names. DarkLord especially tempts people into skipping make money fast. Own them when the farm can miss the Cash. Collecting is fine. Collecting instead of Cut Speed is how plots die.
How to use the list in a session
- Redeem Pirate Farmers.
- Buy Farmer only if you still have gaps.
- Stop hiring until hay processes cleanly.
- Add A-tier coverage when the fence is always full.
- Dip into B and C with leftover Cash, not with rent money—you do not have rent, but you do have a next upgrade.
If a script offers Auto Buy Workers, turn off C-tier names. See auto farm and script safety.
Offline weighting
Any worker who keeps cutting after you close Roblox is worth more than a worker who only looks busy while you watch. That is why this list disagrees with “coolest model” lists. Run the offline farm checklist before you judge a hire as bad; sometimes the hire is fine and the stands are full.
When ranks will move
A merchant patch that buffs a role will be noted under Updates. Until then, assume Farmer and Pirate remain the early S. Check Discord if someone claims a secret SSS worker that is not in the shop.
Hire for hay. Flex later. The rest of the tier list hub will still be there when you want grass and upgrade ranks too.
Re-ranking after a code dies
If RELEASE expires, Pirate Farmers drop from “free S” to “shop if listed.” Farmer becomes even more important. Recheck the codes hub before you quote this list in a Discord argument. Ranks without code context are how bad advice spreads.
